Tuesday, April 19

The Monroe Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 1:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include certificates of appropriateness applications.

The Town of Monroe Annual Meeting will meet at 6 p.m. in the Monroe Town Hall. Agenda items include discussion of 2015 financial statement and license fees for cemetery maintenance. The monthly business meeting will follow.

The Village of New Glarus Personnel/Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall boardroom, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion of Village Claims.

The Village of New Glarus Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall boardroom, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion of licenses, rezoning and assessments and police chief's resignation.

The Green County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. in the county board room, Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave., Monroe. Agenda items include elections and discussion of fund transfers and a special use application.

The Town of Sylvester annual meeting will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Sylvester Town Hall, corner of County FF and Hwy 59. The regular monthly board meeting will immediately follow.

The Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include induction of recently elected officials and mayoral appointments.



Wednesday, April 20

The Green County Committee of Committees will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room, Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave., Monroe. Agenda items include discussion of the appointment of county supervisors to various county committees.

The Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners will meet at 5:15 p.m. in the basement of city hall. Agenda items include review of the Forest Prairie Park rules regarding dogs and an update on recent park projects.

The Green County EMS Commission will meet at 7 p.m. in the Monroe Clinic, Founders Hall room, lower level; enter through Peds/Family Medicine. Agenda items include discussion of recruitments, the state advisory board updates and election of the vice chair.

Thursday, April 21

The Town of Monroe will meet from 10 a.m. until noon at the Monroe Town Hall. The 2016 Tax Roll will be available for inspection and personnel from the Assessor's office will be available to answer questions on property assessment.

The Green County Solid Waste Management Board will meet at 10 a.m. in the Green County Landfill Office. Agenda items include discussion of and possible action on the Delta Plastic contract.

The Village of New Glarus Joint Extraterritorial Zoning Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the Village Hall boardroom, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion of a conditional use permit by Jim and Jody Hoesly.

The Village of New Glarus Plan Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall boardroom, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion of the building inspector's report and the comprehensive plan update.

The Monticello Community Input Forum will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Monticello High School library, 334 South Main St., Monticello. Wednesday, April 27

Housing Workshop, 6:30 p.m., Justice Center multi-purpose rooms 2 and 3 (2841 6th St., in the lower level), Monroe. Review of data collected during the community housing survey. Needs evaluation and brainstorming. Open to public.



Monday, May 9

The Green County Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Monticello Public Library. Agenda items include discussion of goals/objectives, digital collaboration and election of officers.



Wednesday, May 18

The Monroe Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m., at the Monroe Public Library.



Tuesday, May 24

The Town of Monroe Board of Review will meet at 6 p.m. at the Monroe Town Hall. Agenda items include discussion of objection forms filed. Objections must be filed 48 hours in advance.
