MONROE - Presale tickets are now on sale for the fifth annual Green County Fall National Tractor and Truck Pull, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Green County Fairgrounds, Monroe. Nine classes of trucks and tractors from Wisconsin and surrounding states will participate.
The pull, sponsored for the fourth year by Washington Implement, Monticello, will begin at 1 p.m. The band Super Tuesday, sponsored by Colony Brands and Behr Iron and Steel, will play at 8 p.m.
Tickets sold at the gate will be $15, with the band being an additional $5. Advance tickets will be $15 and will include the pull, the band and a chance to win prizes in the raffle.
Prizes will include: $2,500 sectional from Pierce Furniture; 50-inch plasma TV from Fuzzy's Audio and Video; Mm55 Stihl Tiller from Sugar River Power Center; two $250 cash prizes from Wyffles Hybrids; one-night stay at Chula Vista Resort for four people from Chula Vista Resort; four Badger football tickets from Bud Light; Fs45 Stihl String Trimmer from Sugar River Power Center; and prizes from more than 20 other local businesses.
