Advance tickets available for Fall Nationals tractor pull

MONROE - Advance tickets are now available for the 11th Annual Green County Fall Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull scheduled for Sept. 23 at the Green County Fairgrounds.

The event includes 10 classes of trucks and tractors participating from Wisconsin and surrounding states. The pull, sponsored for the 10th year by Washington Implement of Monticello, will begin at noon. The band Madison County, sponsored by Colony Brands, Stone Mill Construction and the Monroe Lions club, will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Advanced tickets are $15 which include the pull, the band and the opportunity to win one of 40 prizes, each valued at $100 or more. Major prizes include a La-Z-Boy leather recliner from Pierce Furniture; a 55-inch LG flat-screen TV from Fuzzy's Audio/Visual in Monroe; and Stihl pressure washer, trimmer, blower and shop vacuum from Sugar River Power Center in New Glarus. Other prizes include a $500 gift certificate from Pomp's Tires and 12 $200 cash prizes donated by Jordan Ag Supply, Trac Trucking/MS Trucking & Services, R. Mueller Stainless, Baker Trucking and Thrivent Financial.

Gate admission the day of the pull will be $15 plus an additional $5 for the band; those purchasing gate admission will not be entered in the drawing. Children under 12 will be admitted free.

There are 1,500 advance tickets being sold.
