A towering void: Record-setting cow dies
Blosom, the world's tallest cow, recently died at her home farm in Orangeville. She's shown in this 2014 photo with owner Patty Hanson. (Times file photo)
ORANGEVILLE - Blosom, a Holstein that Guinness World Records recently named the world's tallest cow at just under 6 feet, 4 inches died last month at the age of 13 on her home farm. Patty Hanson, the cow's owner, had Blosom euthanized May 26 after Hanson and others couldn't get the cow to stand, Hanson wrote in a post on Blosom's Facebook page. Hanson wrote that she does not know precisely what ailed Blosom.
