MONROE - Four men accused of having sexual contact with an underage Belleville girl appeared in court Tuesday and Wednesday for preliminary hearings.

William Ross Viney, 24, Monticello, appeared Tuesday with his attorney, Guy Taylor. Viney waived his right to a preliminary hearing, Taylor said, referencing a currently undisclosed plea deal.

Taylor also requested that Viney's bond be modified to allow him to visit his grandparents in Belleville. Previously, Viney's bond prohibited any entry into Belleville.

On Wednesday, Johnathon Sutherland, 22, Albany, Eric Wade, 26, Belleville, and Dustin Weber, 33, New Glarus, appeared in court. Each waived their rights to preliminary hearings and no further actions were taken on any of their cases.

The four face charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement. Weber also faces a charge of threatening the victim.

Each of the men was accused of meeting and having sexual contact with a teenage girl in late 2014. They are all scheduled to reappear in court April 12 for arraignments.
