MONROE — Recognition of effort and achievement is an essential part of the 4-H program, and plans are being made to recognize a special group this summer.

The Sixth annual 4-H Graduation and Recognition Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 25 in the Hospitality Tent at the Green County Fairgrounds.

On the final day of the Green County Fair, the 4-H graduates, 4-H Key Award recipients, Cindi Miller Memorial Scholarship recipients, and Friend of 4-H, Volunteer of the Year, and Lifetime Volunteer recipients will be recognized.

The public is welcome to come out to support the local 4-H youth and volunteers and help the organization commend them for their hard work and dedication to the Green County 4-H program.
