NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Police Department is looking for information about three burglaries that were reported Sunday.

Windows were smashed to enter Hoesly's Meats, Stampfli Automotive and Wrecker Service, and New Glarus Power Center, New Glarus Police Chief Steve Allbaugh said.

All of the businesses are located on Industrial Drive. The burglaries occurred sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Allbaugh only would say that some money and equipment from the businesses were taken. He wouldn't give an exact amount of money or what specific equipment was taken because the case still is under investigation.

The police department has a couple of suspects in mind but no one has been arrested, Allbaugh said. The Green County Sheriff's Department is assisting in the investigation.

Anyone with information can contact the New Glarus Police Department at (608) 527-2145 or the Green County Sheriff's Department at 328-9400.
