ALBANY - The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands approved a State Trust Fund Loan of $110,161.18 to the Village of Albany, to refinance existing loans.
The Village of Albany received the Refinance BCPL loan number 2010006, which totals $31,678.13 and the Refinance BCPL loan number 2007002, which totals $78,483.05.
With income generated by State Trust Fund Loans, and not a single taxpayer dollar, the BCPL provides all of the state's financial aid to public elementary, middle and high school libraries. In all, a little more than $7.5 million in loans was approved by the BCPL.
