MONROE — Jane Sulzer Skelton, a resident of Monroe Township and a local small business owner, has officially announced her candidacy for the Green County Board of Supervisors, representing District 15.

A Monroe native, Skelton brings a deep personal and professional connection to the community. Raised on her family’s farm north of Monroe, she is the daughter of Kathleen (Feldt) Sulzer and the late Hans Sulzer. The Sulzer family continues to be a part of the local agricultural community and her brother Michael continues to operate the family farm.

Skelton is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has successfully navigated the local economic landscape as a small businesswoman for over 30 years. She believes her financial expertise and decades of practical business experience make her uniquely qualified to oversee the county’s fiscal health.

“As supervisor, I will seek to serve with common sense,” said Jane Sulzer Skelton. “I love Green County with its rich land and rich heritage. I want to see our county government serve my friends and neighbors with the least amount of intrusion yet the greatest impact. I look forward to representing the 15th district.”

Beyond her professional life, Skelton is a loving wife to her husband of 35 years, dedicated mother of three and a proud grandmother of three. Her decision to run is rooted in a desire to preserve the quality of life in Green County for future generations.
