Pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic to be held at dairy breakfast

MONROE — Green County Public Health and Monroe Clinic will be hosting a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Green County Breakfast on the Farm on Saturday, May 29th.

The 2021 Green County Breakfast on the Farm, hosted by the Green County Ag Chest, will be held at the Green County Fair Grounds (2600 10th St, Monroe, WI 53566). The pop-up vaccine clinic will be held in Barn #8. The vaccine clinic will be set up from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m., or while supplies last.

Monroe Clinic will be administering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine which is approved for people 12 years of age and older. This vaccine requires a second dose 3 weeks after the first dose, community members will need to get their second dose at Monroe Clinic.

Green County Public Health will be administering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. This is a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine that is approved for people 18 years of age and older.

Anyone 12 years of age and older can get vaccinated — no ID, insurance or proof of residency is required and the vaccine is free. Minors age 12-17 will need a parent or legal guardian present to receive the vaccine.
