CELEBRATING OUR PAST: October 25, 2023
In the 1960’s, Zwingli UCC (Monticello) Sunday school classes were held across the street from the church in the old Parish House. Due to increasing Sunday school attendance, a committee was formed in 1964 to build a new educational wing. Reverend J. Allan Mittler was pastor during this period (1960-1970). The addition was completed in early 1967. With the addition of the education building, there was no need for the Parish House and it was sold for $5000.
