MONTICELLO — The Zwingli United Church of Christ Monticello Church Family has donated $4,000 to Family Promise of Green County.

Family Promise of Green County has a major fundraising campaign and we wanted to be a part of helping out. Family Promise purchased the Graceland Manor Assisted Living facility in Monroe and are transforming this location into a Green County Shelter which will help individuals and families work towards independent housing and stability, providing a hand up to those in need.  

The Zwingli church family has always been a partner since the start of Family Promise in 2011, when the housing locations rotated throughout many churches in Green County. 

In a statement, the church said, “We are happy to see how this organization has grown to provide safe, warm services and resources to residents in Green County.”
