Zwingli church plans steak fry to fund scholarship program
Church News

MONTICELLO — The second annual Zwingli Brotherhood Steak Fry is planned from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24 at the church, 416 E. Lake Ave., Monticello.

The sounds of “One Achord” will be featured and will share genres from country, pop, folk and rock.

The steak fry offers 12 ounce rib steaks cooked to order, corn on the cob, baked potato, coleslaw, roll and ice cream. A children’s meal of hot dog, chips, drink and ice cream also available.

The steak fry will help fund the Brotherhood’s Green County scholarship program, offering annual scholarships to Green County graduating seniors. Last year, four students received a Zwingli Brotherhood Scholarship.

Meals are presold only and tickets are available at the Zwingli UCC office or from any Brotherhood member. No tickets will be sold after Aug. 21. For more information, call Zwingli at 608-938-4369.
