JUDA - Members of the Zion United Methodist Church High School Sunday School Class/Youth Group will be holding a bake sale from 8 a.m. until noon July 26 at the Sugar River Bank, W2903 Main St.
All proceeds will go to support 4-year-old Yi Liu from China for a year. The group made the decision to sponsor Yi Liu after hearing about Holt International Children's Services and the many children they offer food, clothing and shelter and the loving care of a family.
Yi Liu has crooked neck disease and needs an operation. He lives with his grandparents while his parents work for others while saving money for Yi Liu's operation. The group's goal is to raise $410.
