MONROE - Calling all third to eighth grade basketball players. Gather a group of friends, give your team a name, and join the line-up for the sixth annual Net 'n Ten 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, sponsored by Monroe Area Rebel Soccer.
The competition will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 4 at the Monroe Middle School, 1510 13th Street, Monroe. Concessions will be available.
Each team will be comprised of three or four players with one adult coordinator. Age brackets are determined by 2008-09 school year grade levels. The fee is $60 per team, and each team is guaranteed three games and a Net 'n Ten T-shirt. Games are fast and fun - typically 10-12 minutes, and the winning team in each age bracket will go home with championship medals.
