Young professionals gala held

MONROE - The Young Professionals of Green County hosted its annual open house gala Thursday, April 19. It showcased the organization and featured both outstanding businesses as well as young professionals.

More than 75 professionals and community leaders attended the open house gala that was held at the Monroe Theatre Guild building. The event format was new, designed to provide for networking while also showcasing the organization and contributions made by businesses and young professionals.

"Planning the event in this new format provided an opportunity to highlight our organization and the remarkable success of our group in the past year," said Ryan Ziltner, president of the organization and a realtor with Hedeman Real Estate.

The 2012 Outstanding Young Professionals Open House Gala was primarily sponsored by Colony Brands, Inc.

Outstanding Young Professionals who were featured included Jennifer Stollenwerk, Sam Messerli, Renee May, Lindsey Jubeck, Kate Shuda, Josh Boll, Kirsten Boll and Sinem Bertling. Outstanding Businesses for Young Professionals included Colony Brands, Inc., Monroe Clinic, Monroe Country Club, Quest Industrial, Pro Image Car Wash, Bartels and Co. Tap and Deluxe Lounge.

YP of GC was founded in 2007 with the first annual celebration held at Blackhawk Technical College in Monroe. Since then, the group has grown and plans activities for young professionals on a monthly basis.
