MONROE - Colony Brands has issued a Matching Gift Challenge for the YMCA by committing to a matching donation of $400,000 if $200,000 of community support is raised by April 30. Meeting this fundraising goal will provide $600,000 to achieve the Y's three main objectives: Eliminating its debt load, establishing a maintenance fund and completing urgent repairs and improving the facility.
The community is being challenged to donate to the Y to ensure its success for years to come by participating in this "Capital Campaign."
Those wanting to help may donate to Fueling Our Future; a monetary gift or pledge will help meet the $200,000 fundraising goal, which will activate the $400,000 donation from Colony Brands.
