MONROE — Woodford State Bank last week announced the success of its annual pie sale, which raised $1,200 for United Way of Green County, Inc. Thanks to the generosity of the community and the hard work of the bank’s staff bakers, this year’s fundraiser was a sweet success.

Every dollar will go directly toward supporting families, programs, and services throughout Green County. United Way continues to play an important role in strengthening the community, and Woodford State Bank is honored to contribute to that mission.

“We’re grateful for everyone who baked, bought, donated, or helped share the event,” said Amanda Lowery, Marketing Director for Woodford State Bank. “It’s amazing what can happen when people come together for a good cause.”
