MONROE - Monroe Woman's Club members were recently named to various committee.
Those assignments were: Barb Sathoff and Kathy Reffue to the Arts Committee; Carla Hartwig to the Book Memorial Committee; Mary Deininger to the Christmas Stocking Committee; Marcey Sink and Shelly Isely to the CIP Committee; Nancy Pilz to the Federation/Legislation Committee; Monica Schneider to the Finance Committee; Mary Hedeman, Kim Markham and Mary Schmidt to the Fundraising Committee; Schmidt to the Historian Committee; Kathy Reffue, Mary Soddy and Sathoff to the Nominations Committee; Karen Hogan and Brandi Camron to the Press/Newsletter; Sue Barrett to the Program Committee; Vicki Ingwell, Kay Krebs and Lorraine Williams to the Property/Tea Consultants Committee; and Sue Heinzelman and Onalee Marx to the Scholarship Committee.
Monroe Woman's Club next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 in Wesley Hall at the Monroe Arts Center. The speaker will be Dr. Jennifer Thayer, dean of Blackhawk Technical College. The topic will be "Blackhawk Technical - Green County's college past, present and future."
The Community improvement project will be a $400 donation to the Salvation Army.
The club welcomes prospective members to the programs.
