WIOTA - The Wiota Fire Department is holding an open house during 'Fire Prevention Week, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Wiota Firehouse. There will be free refreshments and door prizes. Wiota First Response will be there to do blood pressure screenings.

As a special event, the Life Line Helicopter from Rockford is coming and will land in the Wiota Ball park at 5:30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to come to this event to honor the Wiota Fire Department and its members.
