MONROE - Area Animal Science Days was held at the Monroe County Fairgrounds on Thursday, June 30. Members of 4-H clubs from throughout Green County competed in the Dairy and Livestock judging events to try to earn the right to attend the State 4-H Dairy and Livestock contests later this summer. Green County results are as follows:

On July 18, the Green County Senior Dairy Judging team of Brooks Hendrickson, John Klossner, Bryan Cramer and Tess Zettle competed in Marshfield at the state and placed fourth overall, just missing the chance to attend a national contest. However, team member John Klossner, who placed sixth in the state, will be a part of the Wisconsin Team heading to Louisville, Ky. this fall.
