Wedding: Whiteman-Wells

Carolyn and Ben Wells
Carolyn Whiteman of Naples, Florida, and Benjamin Wells of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, were married May 2 at Bonita Bay Beach Park in Bonita Springs, Fla. Pastor Robert Hamilton, associate pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Naples, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Timothy and Janet Whiteman of Danville, Indiana. Parents of the groom are Mark and Linda Wells of Monroe.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Barbie Whiteman of Indianapolis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Andrea Meloche of Bristol, Ind., and Staci Henderson of Fishers, Ind.

Best man was Jared Wells of Belleville, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Justin Coverstone of Orlando, Fla., and Bill Gobeli of Simpsonville, South Carolina, brothers-in-law of the bridegroom. Flower girls were Isabella Coverstone and Eden Gobeli, nieces of the bridegroom.

Guests were transported from the beach to a park pavilion by Estero Bay. Paper lanterns adorned the trees, and a guitarist and drummer played softly in the background as guests dined. After dinner, guests and the couple watched the sunset over the ocean on the boardwalk.

The bride is a 2000 Lincoln High School graduate and earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Butler University. While in Naples, she was a sales and marketing assistant for Treviso Bay.

The groom was an estimator for CTC Frame and Finish Carpentry. He is now employed with HMA (Health Management Associates) as assistant controller for Midwest Regional Medical Center. Wells is a home school graduate and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor's degree in business.

The couple met in Naples and now reside at 6301 NW 63rd St., Unit No. 3, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
