Wedding: Mau-Plath

Stephanie Mau and Terry Plath, both of Browntown, were united in marriage Saturday, May 3, 2008. The Rev. Ray Sowersby performed the 2:30 p.m. ceremony at the Peace Church in Christ of Browntown. Parents of the bride are Mary and Delvin Mau, South Wayne. Parents of the groom are Ann and Dave Plath, Browntown. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Delvin Mau.

Matron of honor was Stacy Foecking. Bridesmaids were Mona Thomson, Sarah Voegeli, Genevive Kundert and Kim Plath. The flower girls were Taylor Voegeli, Hannah Plath, and Halle Foecking.

Best man was Ray Plath. Groomsmen were Kris Thomson, Jamie Plath, Chad Kundert and David Plath Jr. Ushers were Eric Strothman and Noah Thomson.

Their reception was held at the Gnarly Oaks in Blanchardville. Cake servers were Angie Moon and Rhonda Peterson.

The couple went to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

The bride graduated from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore with a degree as an information processing specialist. She is an office assistant at Monroe Clinic, Monroe.

The groom, a Monroe High School graduate, is self-employed in carpentry and construction..

The bride chose an ivory Alfred Angelo A-line, strapless gown with silver and cafe' accents. Her attendants wore chocolate colored strapless, A-line gowns with burgundy sashes.

The groom chose a black tuxedo with ivory vest and tie. His attendants wore black tuxedos with burgundy vests and ties.
