Kenneth Alan Pick and Sharyle Kay Folk were married at 4 p.m. Nov. 30, 2013 at the Freeport Country Club, Freeport. The ceremony took place in front of the fireplace and was officiated by Reverend Brian LaBaron.
Jessica Pick, Monroe, daughter of the groom, was the maid of honor. Kenny Pick, Monroe, son of the groom, was best man. Scripture was read by the bride's daughter, Julie Gregerson, and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Gregerson, both of Dyer, Ind.
Immediately following the ceremony, appetizers and cocktails were served, followed by a dinner buffet and dancing. Time Warp provided music.
The bride is a graduate of Freeport High School and Highland College Nursing Program. She is a registered nurse and is employed at Presence Saint Joseph Center, Freeport, as the assistant director of nursing.
The groom is a graduate of Monroe High School and is employed by Finley Engineering as a project coordinator.
The couple took a wedding trip to the Eagle Resort in the Galena Territories and are planning a trip to Las Vegas in late April.
The couple resides in Pearl City, Ill.
