Wedding: Ellingson-Jacobson

Mindy Ellingson and Thomas Jacobson, both of Monroe, were united in marriage July 12, 2008 in the Monroe Clinic Chapel. Monsignor Thomas Campion performed the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Donna Ellingson, Monroe, and the late Terry Ellingson. Parents of the groom are Ray and Elayne Jacobson, Monroe.

Maid of honor was Linda McArdle. Best man was Michael Connolly.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Bret Paulson.

Soloist was Kevin Laufenberg. Jaimee Jacobson, Patti Jacobson and Kasey Jacobson attended the guest book. Gift bearers were Steve and Ross Jacobson. Mark McArdle served as reader.

The bride wore an off-white satin, contemporary style gown. Her attendant wore a raspberry chiffon, contemporary style gown.

The groom and best man wore black tuxedoes.

The reception was held at the Monroe Country Club. The couple honeymooned at RockFest in Cadott.

The bride, a Monroe High School graduate, is employed by Berner Cheese in Dakota.

The groom, a Monroe High School and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse graduate, is a nuclear cardiology specialist with Medical Associates in Dubuque, Iowa.
