Brittany Baus and Wade Melichar were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 in their home's backyard in Oshkosh, with the family and friends in attendance.
Parents of the couple are Tim and Lorinda Baus, Monroe, and Alan and Sue Melichar, Hartford.
Both are graduates of University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Brittany is a registered nurse at an area hospital. Wade is a State Patrol officer and also serves in the Army National Guard Reserves.
The meal after the ceremony was prepared and enjoyed by family and friends and enjoyed by all.
The couple spent a few days in Washington D.C. following the ceremony.
