WEDC

ARGYLE — The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will host a Downtown Roundtable Discussion Group on Thursday, February 5, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, at the newly renovated Legacy of Argyle (formerly the LA Rossing Building) in Argyle.

This interactive roundtable is designed for individuals affiliated with Wisconsin Main Street and Connect Communities programs, including staff, board members, business and property owners, and community partners. Communities not currently participating in either program are also strongly encouraged to attend, as the session will provide valuable insight into how these initiatives support downtown revitalization and broader community development efforts.

The discussion will focus on key downtown priorities, including business support and retention, placemaking, and strategies for creating welcoming and vibrant downtown districts. Participants will engage in wide-ranging conversations centered on shared challenges, best practices, and proven strategies that communities across Wisconsin are using to strengthen their downtowns.
