WHITEWATER - Kaitlyn Wardlow, from Monroe, who is studying communication sciences and disorders, performed in DanceScapes '17 at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
The annual event showcases choreography created by faculty, students and guest artists, and each piece features a different style and message. This year's DanceScapes event took place March 30-April 1.
To join DanceScapes, students apply at the beginning of the fall semester. Two dance faculty, a guest adjudicator and a student adjudicator give feedback to the choreographers and then the panel decides which dances will be fully produced in DanceScapes in the spring semester.
