MONROE - Plans are underway for the 30th annual Green County Breakfast on the Farm to be held from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, at the Brugger Dairy LLC with hosts Brian and Teresa Brugger and Dave and Barb Brugger and their families. The farm is located at N4611 Rechsteiner Road, Monroe. Since the breakfast is always on the last Saturday of the month, the breakfast will not coincide with the holiday weekend.

The cost of the breakfast is $5 for ages 10-adult, $3 for children 6-10 and free for children 5 and under. Tickets may be purchased in advance at any of the local banks located in Green County and will also be for sale at the breakfast.

There will be lots of entertainment this year at the breakfast. Rosalie, Ronnie and Roger will be playing and The Soggy Prairie Boys will also be there. John Komperda and Donna Watts "Old Time Music" will have lots of familiar tunes and there will be performances from the Juda Chorus and Juda Jazz Band.

There will be face painting for the children, a small animal display and the popular corn box. For the adults there will be an arts and crafts show and tractor display including antique and pulling tractors.

Breakfast will consist of scrambled eggs, pork sausage, cheese, homemade coffee cake, milk, juice and coffee cake along with strawberry sundaes for dessert.

To get to the breakfast, take Wisconsin 59 east from Monroe and turn left on Rechsteiner Road. On the morning of the breakfast Rechsteiner Road will be one way going north from County Road FF to Towns Road. To view a map, log on the Web site: www.greencountyagchest.com.
