MONROE - Family Promise of Green County will hold a training and orientation session for volunteers and people interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities. No pre-registration is required and this training is open to anyone looking for volunteer opportunities, including youth. There is a need for volunteers throughout Green County and volunteers can decide their level of commitment.
The training will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 22 and is being hosted by St. John's United Church of Christ, 1724 14th St., Monroe. Volunteer applications will be available at the meeting. For more information, contact Family Promise staff at the Bob Beck Family Promise Day Center, 608-328-2600.
