SOUTH WAYNE - The Black Hawk School District will sponsor a Veterans Day program on Wednesday, Nov. 11, beginning at 8:45 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.
Guest speaker for the program is Stephen Hammel. The program will have selected readings from middle and high school students, as well as musical selections from the Black Hawk School choir and band. A continental breakfast will be served for area veterans and their spouses from 8 to 8:45 a.m. in the lower commons.
