MONROE - Danielle Valentino of Monroe competed in the national leadership conference for Business Professionals of America on May 6 in Boston.
Valentino competed in three categories against 150 or more other students in each category. She placed 11th in college accounting, fourth in personal financial management and first in federal income tax accounting.
Valentino is the daughter of Rodney and Michele Hesgard and plans to graduate from Madison College in December with a degree in business management and accounting.
