DARLINGTON - As preserving season is upon us, UW-Extension has recently announced that the Wisconsin Safe Food Preservation Series 2008 is now available through your local UW-Extension office. Barbara Ingham, professor and food science extension specialist for the University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW-Extension is the author of the series of booklets. Publications on freezing fruits and vegetables, canning fruits and vegetables, canning salsa, tomatoes, pickles, meat, and many others are available.
