LANCASTER — Forage producers, crop advisors, and agronomists are invited to attend the Southwest WI Forage & Cover Crops Field Day from 1:30-4 p.m. on June 18 at the Lancaster Ag Research Station, 7396 Wis. 35/81, Lancaster. This will be a free event hosted by UW Extension and CEUs will be available for Certified Crop Advisers.
Spend time in the field with specialists Marta Kohmann and Mark Renz looking at current UW trials investigating seeding alfalfa into rye, allelopathic cover crops in corn production, herbicide carryover in alfalfa, and new clover-safe pasture weed management options.
