UW-Ext hosts SW Wis. Forage meeting

DARLINGTON — The Regional Crops & Soils, Dairy, and Livestock Educators for Grant, Green, Iowa, and Lafayette Counties will be hosting a free event for agricultural producers involved in forage production and management on March 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lafayette County Ames Multipurpose Building in Darlington.

Join Extension for a meeting focused on forage, silage, and everything related. Learn how to evaluate forage quality based on a variety of indicating metrics, about silage hygiene, fungal diseases in corn, and feed inventory considerations. This meeting will cover a variety of topics, all designed to deepen your understanding of forages on your operation.
