MONROE — The members and friends of Union Presbyterian Church invite the community to a tradition eight decades long — the 79th Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The dinner will take place from 4-7 p.m. at the church, located at 2707 5th Street, next to Northeast Park. The church is handicap accessible.
Menu items include all-you-can-eat pancakes, flipped by the Albany Lions Club, served with butter syrup, savory sausage, local cheese, applesauce and beverages. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for children 3-12 and toddlers under 3 are free.
Tickets are available in advance from any UPC member or by contacting Lisa in the church office at 608-325-2519. Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the supper.
Food is conveniently available for dine in or carry out.
Proceeds of the supper will benefit Union Presbyterian Mission.
