MONROE - United Way of Green County, Inc. 2010 Funding Applications are now available and must be completed by all non-profit organizations seeking funds by Wednesday, April 15.
The United Way welcomes applications from all qualified agencies meeting the needs of people in Green County in the following areas: Children and Youth Programs; Self Sufficiency/Disability Services; Family Strengthening and Well-Being and Community Services.
The United Way of Green County, Inc. by-laws state that all agencies applying for United Way funding must have a tax exempt status under the 501c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 and must have conducted business for at least one year immediately proceeding admission to participation, a recognized program of health, welfare, or other non-profit activity serving residents of Green County.
