BRODHEAD - Brodhead United Methodist Church will hold its children's Christmas Program "Building Christmas" at 9 a.m. Sunday at the church. The pre-school through sixth-grade students will share the story of Jesus' birth through hymn, scripture and sketches. The children will be using Legos to show how God is the master builder and has an amazing plan for each person.

Immediately following the Christmas Program, the confirmands will lead a walk through "A Night In Bethlehem." This interactive family event features places found in the town of Bethlehem on the night of Jesus' birth. Attendees may visit the pottery shed and make a pinch pot, write their names in metal at the metal smith, use a bamboo stylus at the scribe's tent, create a keepsake ornament at the painter's hut, work with wood and tools at the carpenter's shop, try different breads at the Bethlehem Bakery and end at the stable with Mary and Joseph.

Both programs are open to the public and free of charge.
