MONROE — The American Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 2227 4th St.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in the community. 

Participants can download the Red Cross Blood Donor App on the App Store, Google Play or text BLOODAPP to 90999. By using the App, participants can schedule appointments, view blood type and results of a mini-physical, and track donations.
