MONROE — Monroe Clinic welcomes two new members to the cardiology team.
Dr. Ali Albaghdadi and Dr. Sunil Penesetti join Dr. Arif Ahmad and Kris Fosler, ACNP, to provide everything from cardiovascular risk reduction to pacemakers to stent placement.
Ali Albaghdadi, MD, an interventional cardiologist, specializes in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, peripheral angiography and intervention and vein sclerotherapy. Albaghdadi received his degree from Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago. He most recently served as an interventional cardiologist with Medical Associated in Clinton, Iowa.
Sunil Penesetti, MD, provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and treatment services for many cardiac conditions, including an emphasis on preventive cardiology.
His treatment of cardiac conditions includes: aortic valve stenosis, mitral regurgitation, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia. Penesetti received his degree at St. Michaels Medical Center in New Jersey and completed his specialty fellowship at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospitals and Langone Medical Center, both in New York City.
