Turner Hall to hold open house this Saturday

MONROE - Turner Hall of Monroe, 1217 17th Ave., will host its fourth annual open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2.

In addition to highlighting Turner Hall's Grand Hall, Ratskeller Restaurant and Family Bowling Lanes, the free event will feature creative table décor, room arrangements and occasion planning ideas; entrée, dessert and wine sampling; facility tours; and an on-going slide presentation of past events at Turner Hall.

Wanda Bowles, large event/Grand Hall coordinator; Brenda Steurer, Ratskeller Restaurant manager; and Jeff Thomm, manager of the Family Bowling Lanes, will be on hand to meet people and answer questions regarding their respective areas. Members of the Monroe Swiss Singers will serve as facility tour guides during the event, and other volunteers will assist with other various aspects of the event.
