MONROE -Turner Hall of Monroe's Swiss Heritage Series is sponsoring an antiques and collectibles appraisal event called "Trinket or Treasure?" from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2 in the Turner Hall Grand Hall, 1217 17th Ave.
The event will feature author and antiques expert, Mark F. Moran, of Iola. There is a $15 fee for the general public and a $5 fee for members of the Turner Hall of Monroe, who must be current on their dues to qualify for the reduced fee. Observers are welcome, with no charge to sit in on any or all of the appraisals. Registration forms are available at the Ratskeller Restaurant or online at turnerhallofmonroe.org/appraisal.html.
