MONTICELLO - The Monticello Area Historical Society will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27 at Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Ave.

Guest speaker Neal Trickel, Monroe, will give a presentation on his hobby as an amateur gem cutter and on being a rock club member.

The meeting is open to the public.
