Tree planting program deadline extended

MONROE — The deadline to order trees for the Spring Terrace Tree Planting program has been extended.

Trees still available for the spring planting include: Princeton Elm, American Sentry Linden, Regal Prince Oak, Sky Line Honey Locust, Sienna Glen Maple, Low Growing Trees and Cleveland Select Pear.

Deadline for tree orders is now Friday, April 17 and planting will begin the week of April 27. Order by calling the Parks and Recreation office at 608-329-2460. The office is closed to foot traffic, but call to make arrangements for tree planting.
