Train makes second stop for 'Terror'

FREEPORT - One more night has been added for the Stephenson County Antique Engine Club's Train of Terror for 2009. The Train of Terror will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24. The cost of each ticket is $7 per ride. Tickets will go on sale after 5:30 p.m. at the SilverCreek Depot on Saturday, Oct. 24 for the rides on the Train of Terror. The Freight House gift shop will also be open as well as food being available from the lunch stand at the Train building. There will be sandwiches and beverages available for purchase during the same open hours as the Train of Terror.

The Antique Engine Club will also be hosting the last open dates of the 2009 season for the regular steam train rides from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24 and 25, with each ride costing $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years of age. The Silvercreek Museum will also be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be serving brats, hot dogs, sauerkraut, chili and desserts. Dining room hours are the same hours as the Museum.
