MONROE — The Monroe Times is planning a Veterans Day “Salute to Valor” for publication in the Times Saturday, Nov. 9 in an effort to thank local veterans for their sacrifice and service to the country. 

Anyone may submit a veteran for the pages and should include that person’s name, town in which they reside, photo, date of service, branch of service, role and tour. Veterans can be submitted online at themonroetimes.com/submit-monroe-times/veterans/, emailed to classified@themonroetimes.com or submitted in person or by mail to Morris Media of Monroe, 1065 4th Ave. W., Monroe, WI, 53566.

There is no cost to submit a photo for publication. The deadline to submit is 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. For more information, or with questions, contact the Times office at 608-328-4202.
