MONROE - The Monroe Times welcomed dozens of letters to Santa on our special pages. After the letters were forwarded to Santa, six randomly-selected winners were chosen to each win a $25 Monroe Money gift certificate.
This year's winners are: Kim Keller, 7, a second-grader in Toni Wellman's class at class at Parkside Elementary School in Monroe; Izabella Thompson, 5, from Warren, Illinois; Cole Dunlavey, 9, a fourth-grader in Kristina (Rynes) Petitjean's class at Black Hawk Elementary School in South Wayne; Milee Heilman, 6, a kindergartner in Kelli Brunton's class at Parkside Elementary School in Monroe; Paige Swan, 7, a second-grader in Brenda Beuschel's class at Albrecht Elementary School in Brodhead and Colsyn Treuthardt, 7, a first-grader in Lisa DeMuth's class at Northside Elementary School in Monroe.
The Monroe Times either will mail the certificates or send them home with students from school.
