Three Waters Reserve art workshop Sept. 26

BRODHEAD — There will be a half-day safe distancing outdoor art workshop for young people and teens from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26 at the Southern Wisconsin Land Conservancy’s Three Waters Reserve, N3941 Golf Course Rd. 

Come explore the watershed — while maintaining safe social distancing at the sketching —  drawing and painting outdoor workshop led by artist Bonnie J. Schetski. Participants will gather along the Sugar River banks and gain an appreciation for the waterway and surrounding habitat. You will get step-by-step instructions on how to create different types of trees, clouds, water and rocks. You will learn ways of adding color and depth to bring more life to the subject matter as you capture the Lower Sugar River Watershed’s beauty.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis with a maximum of 12 students. The cost is $65/person which includes a furnished supply kit.
