MONROE - A community Thanksgiving Eve worship service coordinated by St. John's United Church of Christ and St. Clare Catholic Parish will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's, 1724 14 St.
Msgr. Larry Bakke from St. Clare Parish will lead the service, assisted by Rev. Tiff Bates, the interim associate pastor at St. John's. Music will be provided by the St. John's Sanctuary Choir.
A voluntary offering of money and nonperishable food items for the Green County Food Pantry will be accepted during the offertory.
A fellowship time will follow in St. John's Fellowship Hall, and the community is invited to attend.
