LENA - Lena Area Special Event Runners will be hosting the third annual Taste of Lena, presented by the Village of Lena and Lena Business and Professional Associate, from noon to 7 p.m. June 4. The event will include events for the entire family.
The Rafters Restaurant and Catering Food Village will showcase many area restaurants and food vendors. Families are encouraged to stop by and try samples. Those interested in participating as a restaurant/food vendor should contact Jaime at Jaime@lenabrewing.com or call 815-369-2588.
Again this year will be a car show. Classes will be announced soon, but for information on how to enter, contact Dawn at 815-541-0228. More than 100 car entries are anticipated.
Entertainment will be going on all day. Cosponsors FS Fast Stop and Pearl City Elevator will host the entertainment area. The headline act will be Southern Ride, a rock and roll band from Rochelle, Illinois. The entertainment stage will be located close to the beverage area, where a selection of beers from local breweries and beers on tap will be available.
New this year is a special area for additional vendors. Those interested in bringing a booth and selling wares should contact Annalisa at Fluegels.in.lena@gmail.com or visit her at Fluegel's in downtown Lena.
